Unfortunately, the world is becoming less active as countries develop economically. In some countries, levels of inactivity can be as high as 70% due to changing transport patterns, increased use of technology, cultural values, and urbanization.
But it's not too late to change this trend. We can all make small changes in our daily routines to incorporate physical activity. From taking the stairs instead of the elevator to going for a walk during lunch break, there are many ways to be more active throughout the day.
