However, a new study has found that the causes of obesity may have differing implications for heart disease risk. The study, conducted by researchers at the Karolinska Institute in Solna, Sweden, found that individuals who were obese due to lifestyle factors had a higher risk of heart disease than those who were predisposed to obesity genetically.
